How do I Start?

Step 1: Reach out

Please call or email me with your name, reasons you’re wanting to start services at this time, insurance information, and contact information.

Step 2: Brief consult

We’ll chat briefly to see if I’m a good fit for you, and we can schedule from there. I may refer to another provider or agency if I needs are beyond the scope of my practice.

Step 3: Complete intake paperwork

I email clients forms through a confidential client portal. Forms are to be completed prior to our first appointment so that I can verify information. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me so I can clear up any topics that are confusing.

Step 4: Schedule & have intake appointment

An initial assessment appointment is scheduled for 90 minutes, and ongoing counseling sessions are 45-55 minutes. These first appointments are often a time that I ask about general areas of your life and we might not get to active therapeutic work in this session. The reason for this is so that I can: have a better understanding of your current relationships, the current symptoms and scope of the difficulties bringing you in, and identify areas of strengths as we develop a treatment plan together.
